The invention relates to a coupling device for a motor vehicle, with a holder and a coupling arm (30) which is movably mounted on the holder (20) or can be releasably fastened thereto, and with a fixing device (60) for fixing the coupling arm to the holder (20), wherein the coupling arm (30) is movable relative to the holder in a release position of the fixing device (60) and is fixed in place on the holder (20) in a fixing position, wherein the fixing device (60) has a first actuating element (61), in particular a locking bolt, which can be actuated along a first adjustment path, for actuating a first fixing contour (57) from the release position into the fixing position, in which the first fixing contour (57) bears against a first abutment contour, wherein the fixing device (60) has at least one second actuating element (71) which can be actuated along a second adjustment path for actuating a second fixing contour (59) from the release position into the fixing position, in which the second fixing contour (59) bears against a second abutment contour. It is provided that the actuating elements are movably mounted relative to one another to change a relative distance to one another and are supported against one another.
