Tensioning device for tarpaulin and vehicle with such a device

The device has a maneuvering handle connected to a receiving and driving unit (22) of a tension bar. The handle can be maneuvered to jointly swivel the unit (22) and the tension bar from one position to another position when they are engaged with one another. The former position corresponds to furling of the tarpaulin and the latter position corresponds to maximum stretching of the tarpaulin. An independent claim is also included for an industrial vehicle.
