Resin film made of hard polyvinylchloride (hpvc) and method for its production.

Plastic film (1; 3) made from hard PVC, which is stretched in the machine direction (MD) of a calender and shows a positive thermal shrinkage of 40-60%, is used as the base film for single- or multi-layer all-round labels for sticking and shrinking onto cylindrical substrates. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of this film by stretching hard PVC film in the machine direction of a calendar, with a dimensional change of 40-60% based on the length of the unstretched film.
