Connector assembly of a wiper device for windshields of vehicles

The assembly for the releasable connection of a wiper blade on a motor vehicle's pivotable windscreen wiper arm has a pivotably mounted insert (14) on the free end of the arm and a corresponding holder on a coupling element of the blade (16), and a device for locking of the insert in the holder. The locking device has a cover (22) locking the insert in the holder and lockable with the wiper arm (10). The holder of the coupling element (18) has outwards widening V-shaped contour, and the insert has a trapezoidal cross section.
