DRIVE
June 2, 2004
The side impact bearer (1) has at least two longitudinal folds (3, 4) forming angle regions (5, 6) each with two arms (7, 8, 9, 10). These arms are in a V shape relative to each other and enclose an angle (alpha) of between 25 and 60degrees. The arms joined by the central web (11) may be shorter than the outer arms of the folds.
