Removable roof fo a vehicle

The roof (9) comprises two roof elements (13,14) connected hinge-free in the centre longitudinal plane B-B of the vehicle (1) and each interacting with a first fixing device and a second fixing device of the fixing system with the windscreen frame (3) and locking device of the locking system with the vehicle frame structure (6). The first fixing device has a flange-like front extension on the roof element extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and engaging under an outside leg wall of a U-shaped socket of an upper cross member of the windscreen frame.
