Collapsible roof for a passenger vehicle with a superstructure

The roof has a steering system (15) provided with steering elements at a longitudinal side. The system has a four joint device (16) connected with a frame element (18) running transverse to a vehicle longitudinal direction, and another four joint device (17) coupled with the former four joint device. A guide (20) of the former four joint device is hinged with a joint (22) at the frame element and another joint (24) at a roof side rod (25). Another guide (21) of the former four joint device is rotatably connected with a pivot lever (28) by a third joint (26) and a fourth joint (27).
