Rear seat, foldable to create a storage volume
DRIVE
May 19, 2004
The rear seat unit consists of a backrest part (12) and a seat part (14), pivoted about a first (A) and a second axis (B). Both parts are connected to the vehicle body (26) via a guide element and pivoted about two further pivot axis (C,D). This causes the two parts to be folded down to form a storage space. The guide element has a first and a second guide part, turning about the axis. Seat and backrest are connected to the body via first and/or second locking elements, e.g. hook and lock, and first and/or second holder elements, e.g. tube and plate.
