Vehicle seat

The seat unit has a seat part and a fold-down back rest. At least one adjusting device (6) located between seat (3) and backrest (2), has a first adjusting lever (7) connected to the back rest. The first lever is hinged to a second adjusting lever (8), which engages with the seat part. The second lever has two arms and is held in a stationary pivot bearing (11). It has a slide block (14) for an adjusting device (9) at one end, and a connection joint (10) to the first lever, at the opposite end. The seat part is adjusted via rollers or slide blocks in guide rails (17,18) in the vehicle body, and it can be raised/lowered via pivot levers (21,22).
