Nozzle for a fuel injector

DRIVE April 28, 2004
Source
A ring plate (1) is held by a holding member (4) and arranged as a dampening component which divides a fuel region into fuel chamber (16) and second chamber (28). The fuel chamber is limited using the nozzle (2) and a needle (3). The second chamber is limited by a bellow (5) provided as sealing component in order to separate the fuel region from an actuator chamber (38). The needle movably arranged within the nozzle extends through the dampening component. The nozzle is fixed to the housing (22) of a fuel injector (37). The first end ring of the bellow is tightly connected to the holding member or to the nozzle.
