Vehicle yaw rate control method
DRIVE
March 31, 2004
The method involves detecting the input parameters, comparing an actual direction of motion (BR) derived from the steering angle (LW) with a desired direction of motion, increasing the yaw damping of the coupling between front and rear axles if the two values differ by a defined reference value (RW) or increasing the locking torque of the transverse lock if there is a regulated main axle transverse lock or simultaneously initiating both measures.
