The method involves determining the transverse acceleration and actual vehicle speed, determining the yaw rate, determining the float angle from the transverse acceleration, yaw rate and actual speed, comparing the float angle with a defined threshold and intervening in the control if there is a deviation. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for regulating vehicle speed in bends.
