The passenger seat (10) has a seat squab (12), a backrest (14) with a hip support section (16) for the hip region of the seated passenger and a headrest (20) attached to the shoulder support section (18) of the backrest, with both the seat squab and the headrest adjustable in height relative to the hip support section, e.g. via a common setting mechanism.
