Roof for a convertible vehicle

The cabriolet roof has a first roof part (10), a second roof part (1) connected to the first part when the roof is closed and an outer linkage (11a) connected to the first and second roof parts that is joined to the outside of the first roof part when the roof is closed. The outer linkage is joined to the first roof part by a linkage transmission . The linkage transmission is in the form of a four-joint linkage transmission.
