A convertible top for a cabriolet vehicle, wherein the convertible top comprises at least a first roof part (1) and a cover element (2), wherein the first roof part (1) is operable to open and close by means of a roof linkage control and the cover element (2) is operable to open and close by means of a cover linkage control, wherein the roof linkage control and the cover linkage control are coupled to one another by means of a coupling element (3), so that the roof linkage control and the cover linkage control are drivable by a common drive (4).
