Airbag module

The airbag module consists at least of an air bag and a generator housing (1), which are connected together and is fitted into a motor vehicle as a unit with an explosive propellant (3) in the generator housing that produces a gas volume to inflate the air bag when the air bag is ignited. The propellant can be introduced into the housing with the module fitted in the motor vehicle. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of mounting an airbag module.
