Vehicle steering wheel

The steering wheel has a frame (10) upon which is installed at least one separate component (14) which supports a snap-in locking bolt (16) which engages with a mating locking element (20) installed on the airbag module (13). The support component in the form a metal plate is fitted on the frame of a hub top of the steering wheel. The support component and locking bolt form a prefabricated assembly, with the support component embedded into the metal cast frame.
