Lifting loading platform for a vehicle comprises a parallelogram-shaped lifting gear on which a platform is pivotably mounted between a horizontal working position and a traveling position, and a spring device (33) supporting the pivoting movement of the platform from one position into the other. The spring device consists of a torque rod (331a) having a torsion axis coinciding with the axis of rotation (185) of the platform. Preferred Features: The torque rod is stress-free when the center of gravity of the platform is above its axis of rotation.
