Loading tailgate system

Lifting platform system (10) comprises a platform (18) and an essentially parallelogram-shaped lifting device with two horizontal support arms (12, 13) arranged a distance apart, an asymmetrically arranged lifting cylinder (15) for lifting and lowering the platform, and a parallel arm (14) rotatably positioned about the axis of rotation (30) of the two support arms and on which the lifting cylinder is hinged, forming a triangle of forces with the adjacent first support arm (12). The lifting cylinder acts on the first support arm and the parallel arm via a universal joint (26). Preferred Features: The universal joint consists of a hinge pin connecting the parallel arm and the first support arm and positioned on the first support arm and on the parallel arm so that it rotates about an axis perpendicular to the pin axis. The lifting cylinder acts on the hinge pin.
