The joint (10) between two interconnected articulated vehicles or vehicle sections comprises two crossing-over articulated arms (11,12) rotatably connected to the vehicles (1,2) at an equal distance from the center longitudinal axis. The articulated arms are of the same length. The articulated joint has at least one damping component (15,16) in the form of a piston and cylinder unit to connect the respective articulated arm to the vehicle.
