The joint between two vehicles or vehicle parts has at least two pivot points (11,21) installed a distance away from the middle longitudinal axis of the vehicle, and at least one and preferably two articulated arms (12,22) are mounted to rotate around the two pivot points. The two articulated arms are interconnected, and each vehicle or vehicle part has a bearing bracket (10,20) each accommodating an articulated arm. Each pivot point has a vertical axis around which rotates the articulated arm.
