Method and apparatus for bonding a gasket on the edge of a glass pane

The seal sticking process sticks a sealing strip (38) to the edge of a pane of glass (40) by its adhesive surface (50). The sealing strip is laid in the guide groove (42) of a tool (10). The tool resting surface (24) is laid against the edge of the glass pane and the strip is applied as the tool is guided along the edge of the pane.
