Method for manufacturing a fuel injection valve

DRIVE September 3, 2003
Source
The procedure is for the manufacture of a fuel injection valve which comprises at least two component parts which lie one upon the other by flat contact surfaces (101) through which penetrates at least one high pressure passage (11). A raised face (30) produced by embossing is constructed on at least one of the surfaces and encompasses the high-pressure passage. The contact surface with the raised face is hardened after embossing has been carried out. The raised face comprises two part surfaces formed concentrically to one another in annular disc form. An Independent claim is included for a fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines.
