Method and apparatus for monitoring the tire pressure

The method involves measuring a positional variation and/or rate of change of the motor vehicle with a GPS device, detecting at least one parameter describing the positional variation and/or rate of change with a device in the motor vehicle and computing a parameter describing the tire pressure using the detected parameter and the measured positional variation and/or rate of change with a defined tire pressure model. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing tire pressure monitoring method.
