Motor control for a vehicle having a manual transmission
DRIVE
April 2, 2003
The engine control allows the engine to be operated in 2 different operating modes, the first operating mode providing a stoichiometric air-fuel ratio and employed between the rest position of the accelerator pedal and a kick-down point (K1), the second operating mode providing an enriched air-fuel ratio and employed after the kick-down point. An Independent claim for a method for controlling an IC engine in an automobile provided with a manual gearbox is also included.
