Regulation method for the air to fuel ratio for a combustion engine

The regulation method has the fuel-air ratio adjusted in dependence on the oxygen content and the water content of the engine exhaust gases provided by respective probes (11,12) positioned in the exhaust gas line (7) after a catalyzer (8). An Independent claim for an electronic control device for regulation of the fuel-air ratio for an IC engine is also included.
