The vehicle roof has fixed side parts (20) with a roof module (30) fixable between same with the connection area between same covered by a decor strip (40) which detachably fixes on a fixing device (50) provided on the roof module. The fixing device can have a horizontal clip (52) for fixing on a rib of the module. The area of the module where the fixing device is mounted can be lowered relative to the surface of the module.
