Braking system for vehicles equipped with a service brake and a retarder

The brake pedal (1) incorporates a module sending a signal (BA) to a modification circuit (2) which sends a signal (BK-Soll) to a comparator circuit (3). Signals for the actual vehicle speed (5) pass to a monitoring circuit (6) which sends a signal (BK-DBAl, max) to the comparator. YES and NO outputs (8,7) are sent from the comparator to the two blocks (ST1,ST2) of the control circuit (4). The outputs from this circuit pass to parking brake systems (DBA1,DBA2) and traffic service brakes (BBA).
