Electropneumatic brake system for trains
DRIVE
March 12, 2003
The electropneumatic brake for a railway vehicle has two subsystems, including a normal system for operating the locomotive and train and a loco-brake subsystem mainly for slow running. The functionality of the loco-brake system is continually monitored. The normal system has an operator control (1), as does the loco-brake system (10). The normal brake subsystem control can be a brake valve.
