The pneumatic functional unit for a rail vehicle comprises a casing (1), into which a cylindrical sleeve (10) is fitted. This carries a valve seat (5) and is fitted with a piston (3) and valve (4) connected by a piston rod (12). Channels (9) connect its interior with outlets (11) in the casing.
