DRIVE
February 5, 2003
The fuel injection system has a fuel pump (5) for delivery of the fuel, at least one sensor (9,10,11,13), for monitoring a parameter of the fuel injection system or the engine and a control device (8) receiving the sensor signals, for corresponding control of the fuel feed rate of the pump, e.g. via a control valve. An Independent claim for an operating method for an internal combustion engine fuel injection system is also included.
