Module, specially a sliding roof module for a vehicle

The module has a guide (10), two slides (12, 14) displaceable therein and a sliding roof component (7,9) or similar. A first entrainment member is connected to a drive (32) and is formed together with at least one of the slides so that it can be coupled to the slide and displaced therewith but after a certain displacement of the slide can be released again from same. The entrainment member has a curved coupling face which can interact with a coupling element connected to the slide.
