Roof module for a vehicle roof

The roof module has guide rails (18) for attaching a roof module component (17) so that it can be moved. The roof module has a socket device (18) for sliding an interchangeable component in on the rear side. A front function section of the roof module can be an opening roof part such as a sliding roof.
