Vehicle roof with a sliding plate
DRIVE
February 20, 2002
The roof panel (2) slides in guides (6,7) via coupled bearing units (4,5). Each unit has a pivot lever (33), which is held on the plate pivoted about a fixed pivot axis (26), and is coupled to a driver element (13). This slides in a guide alongside the roof aperture (8), and is driven by a drive (15). A panel bearing part (17) of the driver element slides in a panel-mounted compensation guide (25). Left and right-hand guides and the bearing units are positioned mirror-symmetrical to the longitudinal vehicle axis.
