Driving circuit for a piezoelectric actuator and operation method thereof

The piezoelectric drive control mechanism has a dc to dc voltage converter elevator (E) providing a continuous voltage and current drive. The converter elevator has two assemblies with inductors (L1, L2) connected to switches (SW1,SW2) in parallel with diodes (D1,D2) and to a capacitor (C) between the assemblies. The assemblies pass a charge current (Pi) to a piezoelectric actuator.
