Fuel supply device

The fuel feed device has a low pressure fuel pump and a high pressure fuel pump supplying a direct fuel injection device with at least one common rail (17). At least one fuel line is coupled to the common line via a transverse bore. The transverse bore has an elliptical or slit-shaped cross-sectional surface (15,16) in the peripheral direction of the common rail. It widens out in the direction of the longitudinal bore (18) of the common rail.
