Electrical initiation means for a vehicle parking brake

The electric control for a motor vehicle parking brake has an actuating lever movably mounted in a fixed guide for manual movement against a return spring. The sensors detect movement of the lever and supply signals to a parking brake control. There is a stop to selectively block the lever. The stop can have a bi stable push button control.
