Synchronizing mechanism of an internal combustion engine depending on the angle relationship of a rotating part
DRIVE
October 30, 2002
The method involves determining the rotation angle of the internal combustion engine using a camshaft sensor and a controller with a configurable input. The input is set to evaluate one or all edges (9.1,10.1,..) of pulse segments after detecting a fault in the crankshaft angular position sensor and injecting fuel into the engine cylinders until a self-adjusting revolution rate gradient is detected.
