Airbag module

Air bag module comprises a pot-shaped module housing having an opening front wall (14) and a peripheral wall (16) protruding to the rear, and a base plate (22) fixed to the peripheral wall by at least one spring hook (24) engaging in an opening (26). A disengaging device reducing the cross-section of the opening after engagement prevents disengagement. Preferred Features: The disengagement device is formed by a section of the edge (30) of the opening which is flexible in the direction of the spring hook. The edge forming the disengagement device has a flexible bulge (32).
