Licence plate support for a vehicle, for a motorcycle in particular

The number plate mounting for a motor cycle comprises a metal or plastic panel (1) which is attached to the cycle. This is bent over to form guide channels (2, 3) for the number plate along its sides and this is slid along until it fits into a third channel (6) at one end. A spring clip (18) on the opposite end holds the number plate in position.
