Frame for sliding or sliding and tilting roof for vehicles

The frame for a car sun roof comprises an injection-molded plastic front section (1) and a side section (3) containing a guide rail for the roof which is connected to the front section at the corner (2). These contain channels for the cable operating the roof. A motor mounting plate (6) fits into a recess in the front section and a cover plate (4) fits over this.
