Airbag module

Air bag module has a bag (26) with a wall (28) having a front wall section (30) on the outside of which the outlet opening (34) of the bag lies in the inflated position. A cover cap (10) has an annular section (18) defining an annular opening for discharge of the gas bag. The gas bag wall opening (34) is arranged under the middle section of the bag in the folded condition, so that when the gas bag is discharged, the middle section extends over the outlet opening inside the gas bag.
