Filter element for fuels

The element is fitted into a filter housing and its clean side is in connection with a water reservoir. The reservoir (31) is located in a reservoir housing (32), which is separate from the filter housing (11) and located on the lower end of the filter element (12). Water reservoir and filter element form a module (33), fitted removable into the filter housing. The ring-shaped filter material is a star-shaped insert (24) with radial through flow, and a lower end cap (26), which also forms a ring wall for the reservoir housing. It defines a central opening (36) connecting the clean side (29) to the water reservoir.
