Filter device

The device has a ring filter element (1) arranged in a filter housing and comprising upper and lower end plates (2, 3). A dirt pot (5) having a water separator (6) is provided on the lower end plate. The dirt port has two protruding, nozzle-shaped pins (7, 7'), where one of the pins engages in an idler channel in an installation condition and the other pin engages in a discharge channel. The water separator is designed as a coalescer and welded on the lower end plate of the ring filter element. A guide conduct is provided on a filter housing pot or on a functional element.
