Device for locking a load on a vehicle and components thereof

The system for transporting containers in a lorry comprises locks mounted on pivots (24) on the chassis. These swivel between two positions (22a, 22b), allowing them to cooperate with goose neck tunnels on 45 foot or 40 foot containers. Independent claims are included for; (a) a locking device for use in the system; (b) a container for use in the system; and (c) a mounting on a container for use in the system.
