Device for locking containers on a vehicle frame at different heights

DRIVE February 1, 2006
Source
The device has rotary pivots (5,6) mounted to swivel about a horizontal axis (2) on the chassis. A first pivot is fixed at the end of a first arm of a swivel lever whilst a second pivot (6) is fixed at the end of a second arm of the swivel lever. The first arm and second arm have two lengths each selected so that a container can be locked in a first or second height on the chassis when the associated locking fitment is set down on the first or second pivot. The two arms are formed from a swivel lever made from two connected parallel plates running diagonal and at right angles to the rotational axis.
