Vehicle roof with integrated roof rail and roof side beam

The automobile roof structure has a roof panel (2), and a longitudinal carrier (8) at each longitudinal side of the vehicle as a bonding between the roof panel and the side walls of the vehicle or the side wall pillars. It has a roof rail (3) which projects over the roof panel, as a mounting for the lateral roof load bearing carriers and the like. The longitudinal carrier and the roof rail together form a one-piece component body (9) of the same material.
