Covering device for a loading space of a motor vehicle

The cover for a car boot comprises a flexible sheet (2) which unrolls like a roller blind on slides (9) which move along guide rails (4) on either side. The cover can be fixed in position by swivelling the slides using a handle (5) attached to the bar (11) at the front of the cover, on which they are mounted.
