The cover for the cargo space of a pick-up truck is designed like a roller blind. It is rewound by a motor (M) which cooperates with perforated strips (L) on either side. These cooperate with slides on a reinforcing strip (30) at the front of the cover, so that the cover slides along guide rails (14) on either side.
