System for the installation of windows in vehicles

The window installation system for vehicles, and especially railway carriages, has a frame profile (3) to hold the window pane in the window opening (2). A support profile (4) is bonded to the frame profile by an adhesive. Before the two sections are bonded together, the support profile is positioned at right angles to the window in relation to the frame profile, according to the thickness of the window pane. The window pane (5) is held in the frame structure together with rubber seals (14,15).
